How to weave Kugurizashi patterns
Share
Hi! Here’s a quick instruction and 4 short videos to help you weave the Kugurizashi patterns using our Kugurizashi Web Designer Transfer Set. I hope these tips make your project easier to understand and more enjoyable!
Step 1: Stitch the Pattern
Start by stitching along the marked lines on the transfer. Follow the straight lines, curves, and zigzags—this will create the foundation for your weaving.
Step 2: Rinse and Let Dry
After finishing your stitching, gently rinse the fabric to remove any glue or transfer marks. Allow it to dry completely before moving on to the weaving step.
Step 3: Begin Weaving
Now for the fun part! Weave your thread under and over the stitched lines, keeping the tension even, especially around curves and zigzags.
Step 4: Finishing Up
Once all the weaving is done, check for any tight areas and adjust as needed. Trim any extra threads to tidy up your work.
Happy stitching! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
